About the Practice
Experience and Philosophy

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in WA, a national board-certified counselor, and a WA state approved clinical supervisor. I have been a practicing mental health counselor for over 12 years and began private practice in 2023, working with adults and couples.
I specialize in treating clients who struggle with anxiety disorders, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma/PTSD, and chronic pain/chronic condition management. I have completed Gottman Institute training for couples counseling level I and II.
I approach counseling with the belief that every individual is capable and worthy of creating meaningful change by identifying and utilizing strengths while discovering new strategies or perspectives that support their goals. Research has demonstrated the significant role of a strong therapeutic relationship in successful counseling outcomes. I strive to build a deep understanding of my client's experiences, beliefs, and worldviews toward creating and maintaining a foundation of safety, trust, and acceptance in the counseling space.

Each individual enters the counseling space with unique needs and goals. I utilize a person-centered strengths-based approach, joining with clients in identifying meaningful goals and approachable options for interventions.
